12. Are the skateboards waterproof?
Our skateboards are designed to be water-resistant but not waterproof. They have an IP54 to IP65 rating, protecting against light rain and splashes. However, they are not designed to withstand heavy rain or regular water exposure. To avoid moisture-related issues and prolong the lifespan of electronic components, we advise against using your skateboard in wet conditions. Note that damage caused by excessive water exposure is not covered by the warranty.
13. How do I maintain my skateboard?
Regularly check the bolts, belts, wheels, and bearings for wear and tear. Clean and lubricate your bearings regularly, grease your bushings and pivot. Replace wear parts annually. If you do not use your skateboard for more than a month, charge the battery to 70% and check it every two months. Remember, your battery will age better if used regularly rather than poorly stored. Keep the board clean and store it in a dry place.
