Probably some of you reading our blog are thinking about buying an e-longboard. However, you also have some concerns about the fact that you have never traveled on any kind of board and you do not know whether you can handle it. There are also those who tried skateboarding, snowboarding or ordinary longboarding, but some factor caused that you did not manage to do it too well and that you only lost yourself in the desire for any physical effort related to the boards. Here I have to surprise you, with electric longboard it is completely different. Everyone will learn to ride a lot faster and easier on it. But let’s start from the beginning:
Position while driving (which leg in the front?)
If you’ve ever tried skateboarding, you certainly know how to fix the front leg, if not explain it. Ask a friend to stand behind you and push you gently. Depending on which leg makes the first step, the same should be your front leg when you are riding longboard. If we are talking about the attitude while riding on an electric board, and the classical one, it is a great simplification on the electric one, because we can stand in the position in which we will ride. On the other hand, there are two different positions on the usual longboard: one while pushing the other while riding.
The first “steps” on e-longboard.
When we are on our electric vehicle for the first time, it is worth holding the brake so that the board will not be able to escape us in any direction. Then we stand with both legs on the table sideways towards the direction of travel (depending on the dominant leg it will be right or left side). Turn the front leg about 30-45 degrees to the outside. We bend the knees slightly and try to add gas slowly and gently. For people who can not keep up, I suggest you turn the truck a bit more stiffly. You can ask, also a friend, to go evenly with you and stick to his arm, you can try to catch your balance. Longboarding is exactly like riding a bike, the faster you ride, the easier it will be to catch your balance.
Practice makes perfect?
A year ago, we had a client at work who was interested in buying Majestic Boards e-longboard, but he was not sure if he would be able to ride it. He wrote to us on Facebook and as one of our longboards was in Warsaw (the customer’s place of residence), on Saturday he will be able to try to cross it. When he first stepped on the board he was very tense and had a problem with keeping his balance standing still. Not even 20 minutes passed, and our client rode around the National Stadium a few times and had such a fun driving, that I was wondering how to tell him that I have to take the board and go back home without breaking his heart;)
This proves that everyone is able to learn how to ride and enjoy driving, just break through.
